Rose Care & Preparation – DIY Friendly Guide
To help your roses look their best and last as long as possible, please follow these easy steps when your flowers arrive:
– Unpack right away. Remove the flowers from the box as soon as they arrive.
– Remove outer packaging. Take off all outer packaging and protective paper, including sleeves or cardboard wraps.
– Remove lower leaves. Strip off any leaves that would sit below the water line.
– Rewrap the roses. Lightly rewrap the roses together.
– Prepare clean water. Fill a clean bucket or vase with lukewarm water.
– Trim the stems. Cut 1–2 inches off the stems at an angle.
– Hydrate the roses. Keep them in a cool place for at least 6 hours.
– Daily care. Change the water and re-cut stems every two days.
