Since opening our doors in Saint-Laurent, Montreal on Valentine’s Day 1978, we’ve believed in the joy of giving and receiving flowers. What began as our father Manuel Botelho’s dream has grown into a family tradition, carried forward today by the second and third generations with the same values of family, respect, and hard work.
Built on Family, Hard Work, and Love
With the support of our mother Anna, Manuel and his partners opened Le Bouquet St. Laurent on Valentine’s Day, 1978. Ten years later, he became the sole owner, dedicating himself seven days a week to building a trusted Montreal florist. Sundays were for family—camping, road trips, and long gatherings around the table with both our Portuguese and Italian relatives. Those traditions taught us the values we hold today: family, respect, and hard work.
